Foolishness

I love April Fool's Day.  We have so much fun with Jerry. I told him he had a bishop's interview and he's been sweating bullets all day, wondering what calling he would get.  He was so relieved when I told him it was a joke.  Sunday is our Family Foolishness Dinner.  The kids get a kick out of fooling Poppie with toy snakes and spiders, he really plays it up with them.

Today is the first day of spring.....it's snowing at my house.  What I really want to do is stay home, make a pot of soup and cinnamon rolls and curl up in front of the fire with a good book.  Someday.....

Aren't grandchildren fun? They love us no matter what. Our sweet Ashlynn is especially close to her Poppie. She follows him like a shadow and just wants to be with him. I love how patient Jerry is with the kids and the time he takes to help and teach them. It's really a blessing to be close to the kids.

We watched our "Granddog" RoxieBell this weekend.
It was such good weather we took her for a walk.
She had fun running around looking for little critters
and barking at her imaginary foes.
