Springtime in the Rockies

Sometimes I hike in the hills behind our house. It is breathtaking! (pun intended - I do huff and puff) This spring I noticed how beautiful the daisies were and insisted that we take pictures. The fam thought I was crazy - and they may be right but isn't this scene beautiful?

Jerry's mom is a joy. She has the greatest sense of humor and is so appreciative of every little thing we do. Our family really gets a kick out of her.

We had a Tea Party for her 82nd birthday. We dressed up in vintage dresses and hats and decorated the deck with ribbons, flowers and tea sets. We ate little sandwiches and divine desserts. I don't know who had more fun; me, the girls or Grandma Dot.

On the 4th we took the kids to the Stadium of Fire. The little girls were so excited to see Miley Cyrus - they were so cute dancing and singing along with her. The fireworks were the best ever!

Here we are at Sand Hollow with the kids. We had such a great time swimming, eating, boating, shopping. It was so great to have the whole family together! We took the grandkids to see Kung Fu Panda - the kids are as much fun to watch as the movie! Austyn sat through the whole movie eating popcorn, I've never seen a little one so content!

Chad had a ball the on wake board - He's a wild and crazy guy!

Sunday was Weston's third birthday.
He is such a fun and happy little guy.
His hair is sun-bleached and looks like it has a rinse on it,
I love it! He can really tell you a story when he gets going.
