MEMORY TAG

I just saw this on my nieces blog and thought it would be fun. Can't wait to hear from you....

1. As a comment on this post, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you know me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

My ❤'s in San Francisco

My "Friends Trip" this summer was to San Francisco. We had a blast doing all the silly things you can't do with your husband. I can't really say what the highlight of the trip was, it was all so great, so I picked three.

1.Muir Woods; so peaceful and incredibly beautiful. It's amazing to think how old the trees are. I'm so grateful they've been preserved.
2.Shopping; it's what I do... and thanks to the encouragement of my friends - I came home with 5 pairs of new Shoes!
3.The wharf. What a great place! Good food, always something going on, you can see the Golden Gate Bridge. I loved the atmosphere.

One more, the grilled cheese at Max's....Delicious! Okay so here's the recipe:
Brie, Harvati and Munster cheeses. Sliced tomato, tender fried. Sour dough bread, buttered on one side - I think you can figure out how to put them on the bread and toast it.
ON THE CABLE CAR

Cam and the Bears

Cam went on a Bear Hunt and shot two HUGE bears with a Bow! He had quite the adventure, especially with a sow and her three cubs. The mama bear wanted him for dinner. She started to climb up the tree he was sitting in. The guide came to pick him up just about then, scaring the bear away. Thank heaven the guide came in when he did! In Canada they have a bear hunt like we have a deer hunt in Utah. His tag allowed for two bears. One of his was 6'9", the other was 7'3". He's having the "small" one made into a rug. The other will be a full mount - where he'll put it, I have no idea :) He does have a large entry and the bear might scare off any would-be "bunglers"....

Breanna was baptized and confirmed on Saturday. She looked like an angel in her beautiful white dress. She was so excited and "just a little" scared - she told me.

THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES

Today is our 35th wedding anniversary. We reminisced about our life together and yes, it did get a little sappy, but the bottom line is that we not only love each other but we like being together.

Here are my top ten memories with Jerry -

10. The Honk Monson Memorial Golf Tournaments. It was so fun to see how much he cares about making this a tribute to his dad and mom.
9. Helping my mom and now his mom. He really wants his mother's life to be good and worry free.
8. Halloween costume parties. He's a good sport about dressing up and letting his hair down.
7. Southern Utah vacations (Lake Powell, Moab, Byrce, Zion). He always went the extra mile to make sure everyone had a great time.
6. Our trips. We've been some great places - San Diego, Miami, Washington DC, Banff, Jackson Hole.....
5. 25th Anniversary cruise to Alaska. He planned and set up the whole trip - 2 weeks! It was wonderful and unexpected.
4. Christmas Eve gifts. I always anticipate this gift because it will be sweet and amazing .
3. Annual Flaming Gorge trips. Our kids still want to get together and play. He insisted we do this trip every year and I'm so glad he did!
3. I'm proud to say he's a Deputy because he excels at his job and he really, truly cares.
2. Time spent with our grown children - boating, playing cards, hunting....
1. Playing with our grandchildren. He always makes it so fun for them. He jumps rope, catches butterflies, plays hide and seek, tells stories and lets them know they are the greatest to us!
